UGG Boots: A Story of Love or Hate?

UGGs are certainly one of the most popular shoes in the world. Hundred thousand pairs of them are sold every year. But why are they so popular?
From my point of view, UGGs are the best casual shoes in the whole world because they are not only incredibly comfortable, but also because there is a pair of the UGG boots for everyone.

I've been a fan of UGG for a long time; every other year I get new UGG boots. As the warm season is almost over, I’ve already started searching for a new pair of winter shoes. Last year I accepted the challenge and tried to find something different from UGGs. I'm one of those people who is constantly cold, that’s why these shoes must be very warm; and I’m a student who uses the subway every day, so I really need comfy boots!

My winter shoes must meet the following criteria:
a)   Made of real leather or suede
b)   Contain real fur inside
c)   Keep me warm
d)   I must be able to walk in them the whole day without cursing and wanting to cut off my legs
With this list in my mind I went for a shopping, bought few pairs of shoes; however, during the winter season I was still wearing my UGGs. I have lots of sneakers, Timberlands etc. but none of my other booties are so practical, soft, warm, cozy and squishy; fur and leather keep my legs warm and dry.
There is a pair of  UGG boots for everyone. A huge color range, different types and models decorated with bows, ribbons or Swarovski crystals. Sporty, casual, glam casual or glam; it is possible to find a pair of these shoes that will go with almost every singe style and outfit. My perfect combo is: a pair of comfy jeans, a T-shirt, a leather jacket and UGG boots.
I know that some people rave about their inelegant look, shapeless form or even about how unsexy these boots are. For someone Ugg shoes might look like “slag wellies” but who cares? I don’t want to wear a pair of high hills while I’m doing my groceries, heading to the gym or going for a walk in a park or woods. Believe me or not they are perfect for the casual wintertime.
UGG shoes are not cheap; however, they will cost you less than a pair of Tory Burch sandals, espadrilles from Jimmy Choo and rain boots from Burberry.
P.S. Not sponsored!

Shopping with 80% discount is a realty

Hello my dear friends, t
oday will be a very short post about fashion outlet in Parndorf.

As you can guess, I'm addicted to shopping. I love buying new clothes and creating new outfits. Shopping is also my way to relax. Some of my friends think that shopping costs me a fortune but I know how to save money and where to find the best offers.

Tomorrow l’m going to visit the Christmas Late Night Shopping at Parndorf. It's a fashion outlet nearby Vienna where you can buy clothes, electronics and home goods with a big discount.

Two times a year ( in August and November) the outlet organises a special event called Late Night Shopping where you can purchase selected items with 80% discount. For example, I have a 1500€ Gucci bag that only cost me 500€. On these days some pedants and leather bracelets from Pandora will be sold only for 12€. This summer I bought a Samsonite suitcase only 35€ (189€ original price).
Over 130 designer stores are presented at Parndorf and not only luxury ones. The outlet has a website where you can check the offers of the day or month.

1. By car

2. By shuttle bus
3. By train: From Vienna Hauptbahnhof to Parndorf Ort and from the train station you can take a shuttle taxi (2,2€ pro person) or as I usually do, walk 20 min. on foot (1,5km.).
On an ordinary day I will take the shuttle bus because you travel to the outlet for free but I always take return train to Vienna (4,3€ with a OBB Jugend card) in order not to pay 11€ for the return ticket. But during the Late Night Shopping day you have to purchase your ticket directly on the shuttle bus from Vienna to Parndorf.
If you love shopping and you are as thrifty as me, I would recommend you to visit this event.
The list of the shops and offers you can find on the website.

MQ Vienna Fashion Week 2015

Hello my dear fashion lovers!

Long time no see! At first I was in Paris, than I was moving to another place (a horrible experience, I must admit) and then I was lying in my bed with a cold and now don’t have the Internet at home! But it’s not the time and the place to complain about it.

I want to talk about my personal favorite – Fashion! Every person who is into fashion knows: the beginning of fall automatically means – Fashion Weeks. This year I was so lucky and got an invitation to the most important fashion event of the year and my “Holly Grail” in Vienna – MQ Vienna Fashion Week.

For me, as for a girl who is in love with fashion it’s an amazing opportunity to feel this “fashion” spirit and “touch” the industry from the inside.

Sometimes looking at designers’ creations I ask myself: Who on the Earth would ever wear it and how? But it is always interesting to see what the designers have made for the upcoming season. So from the moment I got my invitation to the He Brands show I was totally exited about the event.

Fashion can be strange and sometimes clothes showed on the runways are TOO strange to wear them in the real life. What I like about the Vienna Fashion Week is that most of the designers present WEARABLE pieces of clothes. And if you liked something introduced on the catwalk you can buy it in the POP UP store later after the show.

My style is a combination of classics combined with casualness and grange. I love wearing comfortable clothes but not too comfortable as my pajamas. My personal favorite at the He Brands show was a RED suit. I adore its color, the silhouette and how eye-catching it is. I also fell in love with an orange dress. I would definitely wear it on a hot summer day with a pair of sandals or nude pumps and a small bag.

It’s a pity that I visited only few fashion shows of the MQ Vienna Fashion Week but it was a highlight of the month!

Have a nice week and be fashionable!

See you soon, friends.
